Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance Incorporated, known as ACHA Health, is one of the largest private not-for-profit hospital groups in South Australia. ACHA Health comprises Ashford Hospital, Flinders Private Hospital and The Memorial Hospital.
Flinders Private Hospital is seeking experienced perioperative scrub/scout Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our theatre team casually. We perform a broad range of specialties including Orthopaedic, General, Colorectal, Bariatric, Neurosurgery, Urology, Plastics and Robotic surgery, offering you an exciting opportunity to branch out into different specialty areas.
You will join the perioperative nursing team and be responsible for the collaboration of safe and quality surgical patient care.

Flinders Private Hospital operating suite is comprised of 9 theatres and 1 procedure room and operates electively over a 6 day week.
Essential Criteria:
· At least 2 years previous experience as a Scrub/Scout nurse in any of the above specialities and willingness to learn new specialities
· Lead by example, demonstrating the professionalism and culture of Flinders Private Hospital
· Proven communication and interpersonal skills
· Committed to ongoing professional development and learning
· Knowledge of ACORN standards and current legislation
· Unrestricted registration with AHPRA
· Consideration to re-registration to AHPRA program
· Ability to participate in an on-call roster
· Current South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance
· Staff will be required to provide proof of immunity / vaccination to specified infectious diseases.
· Ability to lead by example, demonstrating the professionalism and culture of Flinders Private Hospital

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the “Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch – Nurses’ & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement – 2021-2024 (‘Agreement’ or ‘Enterprise Agreement’)” (salaries range between $31.07-$53.49 per hour).
