Flinders Private Hospital is seeking to recruit experienced Scrub/Scout Registered Nurses to join our Peri-Operative department. A fantastic opportunity in the private healthcare community for highly motivated candidates with extensive skill sets and sound knowledge of the standards pertaining to Peri-Operative Nursing. Flinders Private Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, ENT surgery, general medicine, general surgery, gynaecology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, plastic & reconstructive surgery, oncology and urology. Flinders Private Hospital has 9 operating theatres, a procedure room, 3 angiography labs, an infusion suite, a 24/7 cardiac emergency centre and a 10 bed level 3 critical care unit.
Essential Criteria:
· South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance
· Current AHPRA Registration
· Two years’ minimum experience as a Registered Nurse in a Peri-Operative environment
· Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards, ACHA policies and procedures
· Ability to manage risk
· Sound knowledge of Peri-Operative standards
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong facilitation and coaching skills
· Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the “Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch – Nurses’ & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement – 2021-2024 (‘Agreement’ or ‘Enterprise Agreement’)” (salaries range between $38.99-$48.80 per hour).
