Flinders Private Hospital is a private not-for-profit 152 bed hospital, proudly part of the Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance, known as ACHA Health. ACHA Health comprises Ashford Hospital, Flinders Private Hospital and The Memorial Hospital.

Applications are invited from Registered Nurses with Angiography experience who are seeking a challenge and to make a difference in a Registered Nurse role. The role offers an exciting opportunity within a busy, recently renovated, private hospital setting. Flinders Private Hospital Angiography department consists of three recently renovated Cath labs performing over 4,000 cases each year to both public and private sector patients. Exposure to full range of Interventional Cardiology, Structural Heart, EP and Pacing with a small amount of Peripheral Vascular work. The site is co-located with a large tertiary teaching hospital.

Flinders Private Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, ENT surgery, general medicine, general surgery, gynaecology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, plastic & reconstructive surgery, oncology and urology. Flinders Private Hospital has 9 operating theatres, a procedure room, 3 angiography labs, an Infusion Suite, a 24/7 Cardiac Emergency Service and a 10 bed level 3 critical care unit.

Essential Criteria:

·         Angiography experience

·         Current ALS-1 Certificate

·         Current AHPRA Registration

·         Must be located within 30 minutes of Flinders Private Hospital for on call duties

·         Confident to scrub / scout / monitor (Maclab system)

·         Ability to participate in an on call roster

·         Flexibility to department need and some overtime will be required

·         Current South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance

·         Excellent customer service and communication skill-set

·         Staff must provide evidence of immunity / vaccinations for specified infectious diseases

·         Ability to use initiative, multi-task and have good problem-solving skills

·         Ability to establish excellent working relationships with our Visiting Medical Officers

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the “Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch – Nurses’ & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement – 2021-2024 (‘Agreement’ or ‘Enterprise Agreement’)” (salaries range between $35.69 -$48.8 per hour).
