About the role:
Work cohesively and with initiative in a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to make timely and accurate decisions in critical medical scenarios
Liaising with management, key stakeholders and all Emergency staff
Support management and embrace change and new initiatives positively
Display clinical expertise and service excellence in a private healthcare emergency setting
Provide patient care in accordance with National Safety Quality Standards and ACHA policies

About you:
Current Registration with AHPRA
South Australian DHS Working with Children clearance
Background in Emergency Nursing (minimum 3 years)
Must work across all shifts: early and late shifts over a 7-day rotating roster (Nursing hours include a number of different shifts between the hours of 0730-2400)
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Works well independently and within a team
Basic computer skills

Ashford Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity, oncology, orthopaedics, urology and vascular surgery. Ashford Hospital has 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, an emergency department, maternity services, 24/7 cardiac emergency centre and a 24 bed level 3 critical care unit.
If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the “Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch – Nurses’ & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement - 2024 (‘Agreement’ or ‘Enterprise Agreement’)” (salaries range between $38.79 -$53.04 per hour).
