The Memorial Hospital is seeking to recruit Registered Nurses with PACU experience working with Adults and Paediatrics to join our Perioperative team in the Recovery department. A fantastic opportunity in the private healthcare community for highly motivated candidates with extensive skill sets and sound knowledge of the standards pertaining to Perioperative Nursing.
About the role:
- Two years minimum experience as a Registered Nurse in a Recovery environment
- Current South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Ability to lead by example, demonstrating the professionalism and culture of Ashford Hospital
- Committed to continuous quality improvement
- Committed to provision of quality Nursing care, Education and customer service
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards, ACHA policies and procedures
- Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands
- Positive attitude towards leadership, and potential management skills
- Salary range $42.37 - $53.04 based on ACHA - Nurses and Midwives - Enterprise Agreement - 2024

About you:
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Previous Paediatric Airway Management experience
- Able to complete work in a timely and professional manner
- Leads by example, has a positive attitude and is willing to be a mentor to junior staff
- Is motivated, hardworking and experienced in working in a fast-paced environment
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Is committed to continuous quality improvement and delivering exceptional patient care
- Has a desire for further learning and continuing professional development
