The Memorial Hospital are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our fast paced, dynamic and friendly, award-winning Paediatric Department – comprising 13 overnight beds within Leahurst Ward and 15 day beds within our Paediatric Day Stay Unit.

About the role:

  • Work cohesively and with initiative in a multi-disciplinary team

  • Deliver evidenced based and quality clinical nursing care

  • Liaising with management, key stakeholders and all staff 

  • Support management and embrace change and new initiatives positively

  • Provide exceptional pre and post-operative paediatric nursing care in accordance with national standards

  • Work effectively in a team environment, while managing own time effectively in a fast paced setting

About you:

  • Registered with AHPRA

  • Interest and/or experience in developing Paediatric Nursing Skills

  • Awareness of National Standards & Quality Improvement processes

  • Current Working with Children Check & Police Check

  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care

  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Works well independently and within a team

  • Basic computer skills

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the “Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch – Nurses’ & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement - 2024 (‘Agreement’ or ‘Enterprise Agreement’)” (salaries range between $38.79 -$53.04 per hour).
