Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance Incorporated, known as ACHA Health, is one of the largest private not-for-profit hospital groups in South Australia. ACHA Health comprises Ashford Hospital, Flinders Private Hospital and The Memorial Hospital.

ACHA Health are currently recruiting for Domestic Support Staff (house-keeping and cleaning roles) to join our busy and supportive Hospitals on a casual basis. You will work collaboratively in dynamic team environments that strive to deliver outstanding customer service to our patients and medical professionals.  

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

·         Cleaning of patient rooms to a private healthcare environment standard

·         Patient transport

·         Environmental services

·         Maintain excellent communication with department managers

 

Essential Criteria: 

·                  South Australian DHS Working with Children clearance (please note clearance can   take up to 8 weeks processing time if application required)

·                  Provide evidence of required pre-employment Vaccination history and Serology

·                  Excellent communication and customer service skills

·                  Works well independently and within a team with a ‘can do’ attitude

·                  Passion for delivering exceptional customer service in an empathetic manner

·                  Excellent time management skills

 

ACHA Health offers:

·         Increased take-home pay with access to salary sacrifice, enabling you to pay less   tax on your income

·         Flexibility to work a variety of shifts over 7 days – AM shifts starting 0600 and PM       shifts finishing 2100 including weekends

·         25 hours plus available per week - $ 32.45 per hour (note figure includes 25%       casual loading)

·         15% afternoon and 50% weekend penalty rates
