Ashford Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team as Theatre Orderly. This position will assist with our fast-paced perioperative services environment.
About the role:
Transporting patients to/from and within the perioperative department
Assisting within the operating theatre as delegated by the nursing team
Providing assistance with patient transport
Ensuring patient trolleys/beds are available in recovery a timely manner
Couriering items as delegated by nursing team
Undertaking cleaning of the operating theatre between cases as per facility protocols
Restocking and unpacking as delegated
Waste removal from peri-operative suite
Working alongside the nursing staff of the perioperative department, it is important to adhere to ACHA’s patient/client and staff confidentiality with compliance to legislation and ACHA privacy policy.

About you:
No previous experience necessary but would be desired
Good communication skills, able to take direction
Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
