An exciting opportunity has become available for an Client Access Administrator to join our busy department.


The Client Access Administrator is part of the wider multidisciplinary team and is responsible for providing marketing, information, assistance and excellent customer service to enquirers and referrers.
The Client Access Administrator completes telephone pre-admission assessments of people referred to Independence Services.
The Access Administrator works effectively with referrers and Independence Services staff to facilitate the smooth, timely and efficient admission of clients to Independence Services.

Selection Criteria:
  • Competence in managing a multi-input and multi-tasking work environment.
  • Ability to provide education, support and guidance to patients, their families and or carers
  • Awareness of available community resources and able to initiate referrals as appropriate.
  • Able to establish a professional working relationship with the clients care team
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment and safe work practices
  • Ability to communicate clearly and document legibly
  • Willingness to seek assistance/guidance when unsure
  • Knowledge of the Disability Act 2006 and other relevant legislation
  • Knowledge of NDIS practice standards
  • Appropriate qualifications in Administration ie Microsoft Word, Excel
  • NDIS Worker Screening check
  • Excellent communication skills
