As a Chef Supervisor your responsibilities will include:
  • Working hands on positively as a member of the Food Service Department team and where necessary accept guidance from the Food Services Manager and the more senior food service staff
  • Provide an excellent standard of leadership to team members
  • Provide an excellent standard of food/presentation following recipe cards
  • Following all food safety infection control guidelines 
  • Ability to keep pace with peers and working in a friendly positive, safe and organized manner while maintaining food service standards
  • Maintain staff, food stock levels and costs
  • Lead, supervise, coach and develop team members to deliver exceptional service

Selection Criteria:
  • Demonstrated stable employment history in hospitality
  • References supplied from workplaces previously worked by the GM/Owner  
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cooking
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of HACCP regulations
  • Reliable, team orientated
  • Good organization skills 
  • Compassionate, motivated, positive outlook
  • Excellent time management and people skills together with a logical and methodical approach to the work at hand
  • Available for a 7 day roster between 11-1900 (alternate weekends off)
  • Demonstrate a true love for hospitality focused on providing great patient care
  • Cool, calm and collective nature
  • Leadership Experience in restaurant/hotel food service environment highly regarded
