Are you a skilled Contracts Manager looking to take on a challenging role with a diverse portfolio, within a fast growing and innovative Healthcare company? Applications are sought from suitable applicants to join our leadership team.

Based in Northern Beaches of Sydney, the Contracts Manager will be instrumental in overseeing compliance with the key contracts, hospital operations, whilst working in close partnership with Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) Executive and Northern Sydney Local Health District.

 

As the Contracts Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee organisational contract management process;

  • Draft standards for contracts assuring accuracy and appropriateness;

  • Prepare service agreement tenders;

  • Manage contract negotiations;

  • Develop appropriate internal and external reporting mechanisms;

  • Manage all sub-contracted service agreements;

  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders and suppliers;

  • Manage deadlines, deliverables and supply progress reports;

  • Develop, monitor and document quality improvement focused outcomes; and

  • Support NBH in maintaining a high degree of service excellence.

 

 

Recently opened in October 2018, the Northern Beaches Hospital represents a new model of healthcare in NSW as a fully licensed private hospital providing services to both public and private patients in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. With 488 beds, a large Emergency Department, 14 Operating Theatres, 2 Cardiac Catheter Laboratories, 4 Procedure Rooms and a full range of Medical and Surgical services not limited to Critical Care, Maternity, Paediatrics, Cancer Care and Ambulatory Care;

 

Selection Criteria

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Law/Healthcare Management or equivalent;

  • Extensive experience in a contract manager role;

  • Considerable experience in hospital operations or demonstrated experience in the healthcare sector;

  • Solid experience in contract preparation and documentation for legal review;

  • Strong knowledge of legislative and reporting requirements;

  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders;

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; and

  • Strong attention to detail.
