Mount Hospital's Graduate Enrolled Nurse program aims to enable you to make the transition from newly Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to a safe and competent practitioner in a supportive environment.


At Mount Hospital we offer:

  • A structured program with 2 rotations within the clinical departments (with the possibility of a rotation in a specialty area)
  • GNP - 56hrs/fortnight
  • 12 month contract
  • Ongoing support provided by the Mount Team including: Education Team, Clinical Nurses and Nurse Unit Managers.

New Graduate Program Includes:

Our hospital has been providing high quality healthcare to Perth residents for over 30 years. With 224 patient-beds Mount is one of the largest private hospitals in Perth that provides multi-day and same-day procedures and provides a comprehensive range of services across several adult specialties, including Cardiac, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Plastics, Oncology, General Surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation.
We pride ourselves on being a leading private provider of cardiac services in Western Australia, offering a 24 hour priority admission service for patients experiencing acute cardiac or respiratory problems.

Selection Criteria:
  • Eligibility for registration as a nurse with the Nurses and Midwives board (AHPRA)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Compliance with National Regulatory Standards
  • Graduate during 2018
  • Able to undertake Part-Time employment on a 7-day per fortnight rotating roster
  • High-level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Works well within a team


How to Apply:

  • Include a CV with at least two references (One referee must be a clinical teacher, preceptor, or other senior nurse that you have reported to at a clinical placement)
  • Provide most recent academic transcript with result legend
  • Optional inclusion: a copy of a placement assessment/comments from a recent clinical supervisor.
