Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for delivering high quality patient care and a commitment to making a difference to the lives of others? Mount Hospital has an exciting opportunity for talented nurses with experience in Angiography to join our dynamic team, working in our new state of the art Cardiac Catheter laboratory.
As a valued member of our Angiography team you will be responsible for but not limited to:  
  • Clinical decision making and problem solving;
  • Providing direct nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures;
  • Maximising outcomes by delivering excellence and evidence based patient care;
  • Implementing and monitoring patient care plans and delivering education to support health recovery and management;
  • Being an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, assisting with procedures like angioplasties, valuuloplasties and stent placement to name a few as well as
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety.

Essential Criteria:
  • Current Registration with AHPRA;
  • Recent experience working in Angiography;
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills;
  • Have the energy, motivation and initiative to work in a very busy, high acuity unit;
  • Ability to be adaptive to changes in technology and
  • Basic computer skills
Desirable Criteria:
  • Post graduate certificate/ diploma in critical care or interventional cardiology;
  • INC member;
  • Peri operative experience
  • Current advanced life support certification.
