The Peninsula Private Hospital Administration team are seeking a motivated and passionate Theatre Bookings Clerk who will complement the current team and bring with them great enthusiasm, passion, knowledge and a highly progressive approach to providing excellence in customer care to our patients and their families.
 
 
As a Theatre Bookings Clerk your responsibilities will include:
 
  • Greet all customers
  • Handle enquires with a friendly and professional manner
  • Manage clerical and administrative responsibilities such as prostheses billing
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical records
  • Assist nursing staff with indirect patient care under the supervision of Nurse Managers
 
Located on the Redcliffe Peninsula in the heart of Kippa-Ring is Peninsula Private Hospital.
 
As a dedicated medical, surgical and rehabilitation hospital, we have been providing quality healthcare services to the greater Kippa-Ring area for over 30 years.
 
 
Selection Criteria:
 
  • Experience in an acute patient focused Healthcare facility/Hospital
  • Demonstrated knowledge in prosthetic billing
  • Excellent knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Highly developed interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary work environments
  • Preference for applicants with Tech 1 experience and Health Fund Contract understanding
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts
