The Melbourne Clinic is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our consulting suites team for an immediate start You will join a friendly team of professionals who pride themselves on offering outstanding service and high- quality care to all patients.  This is a great role for experienced and patient care-focused individuals who want to achieve a dynamic career in healthcare.

Key responsibilities:

  •  Support doctors with day-to-day administrative tasks
  •  Manage a busy reception desk
  •  Manage phone and email enquiries with a friendly and professional manner
  •  Organise appointments, reschedule, reminder SMS confirming booking
  • Bill patients and process Medicare claims
  •  Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records
  •  Liaise with different departments within the hospital, other GP clinics and hospitals
  • Accurate computer data entry

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience (2-3 years) in healthcare with exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills    
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Be able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Exceptional computer skills - MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) 
  • Zedmed experience (desired)
