Holmesglen Private Hospital is looking for a dynamic individual to join our Hospital’s Rehabilitation Clinic as an Administration Officer part time. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, committed to a high standard of customer focused care, excellent time management and organisational skills. About us

Holmesglen Private Hospital is a world class facility located in the South Eastern region of Melbourne. Close to public transport and with affordable onsite parking.

Holmesglen Private is a state of the art 147 bed hospital, comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units. – including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services

 

As an Administration Officer your responsibilities will include:

  •          Patient Billing and Receipting/Medicare rebate
  •          Maintain accurate records
  •          Coordinate with Doctors and staff from different departments
  • Patient admission and discharges
  • Manage a busy reception desk
  • Coordinate with staff from other departments
  • Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry

Essential Criteria:

  • Authority to Work in Australia
  • Medical administration or medical reception experience desired
  • Experience with Medical Software i.e. WebPAS.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills     
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
