Exciting career opportunity to work as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) as part of our dynamic nursing team at Northern Beaches Hospital.
As an Assistant in Nursing your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
• Working as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters
• Assessing patients using therapeutic skills
• Answering patient/visitor/customer enquiries
Northern Beaches Hospital is a fully licensed private hospital, providing care to public and private patients from an outstanding facility with a large range of quality services provided by exceptional nurses, doctors and staff.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:
• Certificate IV in ACUTE Health Care from an approved training provider
• More than 2 years’ experience in an acute care hospital
• Excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication
• Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Experience working in the private healthcare system
• Flexibility to manage shift work (including, day & night shifts) over 7 days
