- $29.26/hr - $32.68/hr plus super

About the role
Brisbane Private Hospital are currently seeking a part-time CSSD Technician to join our dynamic perioperative team working across a rotating roster, 32 hours per week across Monday to Friday. Shifts will include a variety of AM, PM and night shifts on rotational basis.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Thermal disinfection inspection, packaging and sterilising of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areas
- Comply with AS/NZ standards AS 5369:2023
- Operate interpret and document all machinery operational requirements
- Report and document all quality activities
- Ensure priority of instrumentation and processes

Brisbane Private is a 181-bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 18 operating theatres conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands. Specialties include neurosurgery, orthopaedics, spinal, plastics, urology, ENT, Rehabilitation and general surgery and delivery of Brisbane’s leading private drug and alcohol programs from Damascus Health Services.
Essential Criteria:
- Sound knowledge of AS 5369:2023
- Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation
- Completed or working towards Cert III in Sterilisation
- Experience with tracking systems
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate computer literacy skills - including MS office and various data base
- An interest in promoting best practice patient care
- A focus on professional development
