The Melbourne Clinic is seeking an experienced clinical leader to join our Day Program as Day Program Manager.
The Day Program Manager will provide operational and clinical leadership across our Day Programs, working in close collaboration with the senior leadership team, psychiatrists, and clinicians. This role is pivotal to the growth and ongoing development of The Melbourne Clinic Day Program, ensuring the delivery of premium, evidence‑based, patient‑centred care while driving clinical excellence and operational performance.
- Ensuring the effective running of the Day Program service involving management of the service, team, environment and client therapeutic processes
- Development, implementation and review of evidence-based therapy programs
- Development of effective Clinical Continuum of Care processes (intake, referral response, assessment, care planning, care implementation, care review and separation processes)
- Leadership and performance management of the designated multidisciplinary team; including recruitment, HR and supervision
- Managing resources allocated to the Day Program

- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Nursing
- Eligibility for membership of the above professional Australian Associations such as AASW and AHPRA
- Demonstrated commitment to consumer-focused care and evidence based clinical practice
- Ability to conduct program evaluation, quality improvement activities and research in the mental health field
- Knowledge of the current Mental Health Act 2014, amendments and other relevant legislation
- Strong experience in the development, facilitation, evaluation and maintenance of clinical programs
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
