Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker looking to step into a rewarding role that allows you to combine your professional skill and passion for patient care?
An exciting opportunity has become available for suitable candidates to provide individualised care and support to clients in our residential house and Attendant Care Service team in Bendigo.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care such as showering, dressing and grooming to patients
  • Assist with provision of medication
  • Assist with domestic tasks such as cooking, household cleaning and laundry
  • Provide social and transportation support including driving patients to medical appointments and assisting with grocery shopping
  • Candidate must be able to work varied shifts over a 24 hour period, 7 days per week with varying shift hours.


Healthscope Independence Services (HIS) is an accredited provider of Residential Care and Attendant Care Services. HIS provide a safe and empowering environment for clients to maximize their individual potential. Our support workers provide person centred active support, enabling clients to maximize their abilities and achieve their individual goals. We provide services across Melbourne and regional Victoria, NSW (Albury) and NT. This includes residential support (both long term and respite care) as well as Attendant Care services.
Selection Criteria:
  • Certificate III or IV in Community Services /Disability/Aged Care or Experience working in the disability sector
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Food Safety Certificate (SITXFSA101)
  • Current National Police Clearance no more than 12 months old
  • Current State/Territory Driver’s License
  • All candidates from Northern Territory must have current Working with Children’s Check
  • All candidates should be up to date with relevant Vaccinations/Immunisations: (Hep A & Hep B)
