At the Healthscope Independence Services (HIS), we are seeking a passionate and experienced female residential/support worker to provide high-quality to our clients within our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services operating within the NDIS.

  • Casual

  • Female Support Worker- Glenroy

  • Classification: Level 2 – (Pay point will be determined based on experience and qualifications).

  • Work Location: View Street, Glenroy

About the Role 

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and assistance to our clients, helping them achieve their goals and live independently. You will work closely with our clients, supporting them with daily living activities, personal care, and community engagement.

A typical day may include:

  • Provide personal care support in line with individual support plans

  • Assist participants with daily living activities in meal preparation and feeding.

  • Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, etc

  • Accompanying and supporting clients in community-based activities, such as social outings, appointments, and recreational pursuits

  • Ensure all required documentation (including daily notes, communication and progress reports) is thorough and up to date.

  • Adhere to all organisational policies, including medication administration, WHS, client rights, privacy, and confidentiality.

To be considered for this role you will have: 

  • Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or related qualification.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in disability or healthcare services is required.

  • Strong communication, written, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

  • Comfort working in relaxed home environments, including around pets.
