About the role:
Lady Davidson Private Hospital is looking to employ Environmental Services Assistants to join our supportive team initially on a casual basis. The shift times are flexible to work a variety of shifts 7 days a week. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and an interest to achieve high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

As this role will be responsible for ensuring the highest cleaning standards across the hospital, it would be beneficial if you have had some previous experience working within a hospital and understand the cleaning nuances of working within this unique environment.

Lady Davidson Private Hospital is a 115-bed Private hospital located in North Turramurra set on the edge of the beautiful Ku-ring-gai National Park, Lady Davidson specialising in orthopaedics, cancer/oncology and neuro-spinal rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities:
- Providing high standard of cleanliness throughout the hospital including wards and external areas
- Maintaining communication with staff and other stakeholders to ensure quality clinical outcomes are achieved
- Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
Essential Criteria:
- previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is a plus but not essential
- clear, professional communication, demonstrating experience in interacting thoughtfully with patients, customers, and internal teams.
- comfortable working independently without supervision
- a team player who loves to work in a small, friendly team
- flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
- self-motivated, well-organised, and able to manage tasks efficiently
- punctual, reliable and with a commitment to providing the best possible hygiene standards
- a strong understanding of WHS safety and hygiene standards.
