As a Food Service Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
- Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
- Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required.
- Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture.
· Provide high standard of customer service
· Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures
· Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
· Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
Essential Criteria:
- Authority to Work in Australia
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Experience in Hospitality (desirable)
- Food Handler Certificate or Certificate III in Hospitality
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Excellent time management skills
- Commitment to service excellence.
- Strong communication and customer skills
- Attention to detail
- Work well independently and within a team
- Available for on call shifts including weekends
