About the role
As a Food Services Team Leader your responsibilities for the day to day running of the department will include:
- Staff management
- Resource allocation
- Ordering/procurement
- Food safety
- Quality and functional supervision
- Providing leadership and direction to the team to compliment the strategic direction, operational processes, budget and business direction of the hospital
Essential criteria
- Experience in a supervisory/leadership role within a kitchen or Healthcare facility or hotel environment
- Leadership capability to develop staff in delivering exceptional service
- Demonstrated commitment towards quality improvement
- Highly developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Experience in rostering, staffing, and supervision of staff
- Handle enquiries and resolve complaints
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in an organised manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Role would suit experienced hospitality supervisor
