This Intake Coordinator role is across our Inpatient Program areas. You will play an important role in being the first contact point for patients in these areas.

Outpatients, staff and doctors look to our Intake team for compassionate understanding, efficient solutions and consistent results for their future plans. Along with this, the team provides highly skilled customer service, communication with our multidisciplinary team and liaison with other key staff within the Clinic. Part of your day will include patient assessments both over the phone or in person, arranging acceptance into programs, confirming bookings and provision of information.

The Victoria Clinic is currently a 115 patient-bed private psychiatric facility located on Malvern Road in Prahran. 

This architecturally designed, purpose-built mental health facility specialises in the provision of high-quality inpatient mental health services.

Essential Criteria:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Mental Health (or working towards) 
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Advanced computer skills / digital healthcare system experience
