About the role
As a Palliative Care Nurse (EN or RN), you will provide high-quality clinical care and emotional support to patients with life-limiting illnesses. You will play an essential role in symptoms management, end-of-life care, patient advocacy and supporting families and carers.
Key responsibilities:
Delivering compassionate and evidence-based nursing care
Assessing pain and complex symptoms effectively
Supporting patients and families emotionally and psychologically
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Participating in discharge planning and care coordination
Maintaining accurate clinical documents
Contributing to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Essential Criteria:
· Authority to work in Australia
· Current AHPRA Registration (no restrictions)
· Experience in palliative, oncology and aged care
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
· A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· To work well both independently and within a team
Desirable
Postgraduate qualification or studies in palliative care
Experience with syringe drivers and symptoms management
Knowledge of advanced care planning and end-of-life care pathways

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the NSWNMA / AMNF - Nurses and Midwives Agreement - starting from $26.39 - $37.39 per hour.
