Quality Manager Role

Responsible for providing leadership and direction for safety, quality, risk and data reporting relating to clinical services.

·           Leadership and People Management – Supporting and mentoring a well-established team.

·           Clinical Risk Management –Identify and respond to a changing policy, operating, quality and safety environment.

·           Patient Experience Management – Drive quality improvement and elevate empathy in healthcare to increase exceptional patient experience.

·           Reporting – Managing internal reporting, within Healthscope nationally and to NSLHD.

·           Stakeholder Engagement – Confidently collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team and external partners.

Competencies Required:

  • Significant experience leading and managing quality initiatives and accreditation processes
  • Ability to deliver a quality service within an acute hospital setting (minimum 5 years’ experience).
  • Experienced in investigating clinical incidents and implementing change.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NSQHS Standards and the ability to implement and maintain systems that ensure compliance.
  •  Ability to influence and engage a variety of staff and doctors to achieve outcomes.
