About the role:

The Mount Hospital is looking to employ Medical Imaging Technologists (Radiographers) on full time, part time or casual basis for their Angiography (Cardiac & Vascular) Suites and suitable applicants with appropriate clinical experience are encouraged to apply. Experience in Angiography is highly regarded but not essential for the right candidate as onsite training can be provided.

About Us

Located near King’s Park, Mount Private Hospital is Western Australia’s leading private provider of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery supported by the largest private Critical Care Unit (CCU). 

The Angiography suite at the Mount Hospital is expanding, with over 4000 coronary and vascular procedures a year and growing. The Cath Labs provide a variety of specialist services including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary intervention, electrophysiology (with 3D mapping ablations), FFR and IVUS, cardiac implantable devices, vascular intervention and structural heart cases such as PFOs, LAAOs, TAVI, Mitral and Tricuspid Valve prosthetic implantables.

We have a team of experienced supportive nursing staff and radiographers delivering the highest quality care and service.  There are 3 state of the art Angiography suites adjacent to our 30 bedded Coronary Care Unit.  Along with the 3 labs, we have a Hybrid suite in the theatre complex with easy access to our 10 bedded level 3 ICU.

 Key responsibilities:   

  • Perform minimally invasive interventional procedures with latest cutting-edge angiographic imaging equipment

  • Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team consisting of cardiac and vascular surgeons, nurses, other technicians and radiographers to deliver exceptional patient care

  • Engaging with state-of-the-art equipment and software, continuously evolving to support best practice

  •    Participating in Quality and Safety improvement activities to make a difference

Essential criteria:

  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care and demonstrated ability to adhere to the ACQSHC National standards
  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Radiation License with the Radiological Council of WA
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
