Cath Lab Radiographer – Permanent Part‑Time or Full‑Time role

Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Radiographer to join our supportive and friendly team. This unique opportunity allows you to work across multiple specialties, including Cardiac, Vascular, Neuro, and Interventional Radiology, offering exceptional variety in your day‑to‑day role.

Established in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 339-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.

With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

As a Radiographer in the Cath Lab your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Collaborate with the Cath Lab team on coronary angiograms, pacemakers, and vascular procedures
  • Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
  • Patient registration on all equipment and ensuring data back-up
  • Procedural documentation
  • Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for Safe Practice

 

Essential Criteria:

 

  • Current AHPRA Registration and EPA Radiation License
  • Radiation Safety
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to participate in a fluctuating roster as required
  • ECG knowledge and Cath Lab experience 
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
