About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care while working alongside a multidisciplinary team in a supportive clinical environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care in accordance with professional standards and best practice.
- Support patients and families throughout their healthcare journey, providing education and emotional support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
- Promote and model a culture of safe clinical practice.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and effective communication with patients, families and colleagues.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 2 years' post-registration nursing experience.
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Experience in Paediatric Nursing and Adult Surgical Nursing.
- Clinical experience in one or more of the following specialties:
- Paediatric Surgery
- Women’s Health
- Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
- Understanding of ACQSHC National Standards.
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Intermediate computer literacy.
