Holmesglen Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Day Surgery Team on a Part Time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.
About us
Holmesglen Private is a state of the art 147 bed hospital, comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units. – including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
• Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups
• Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
• Act as a role model for Safe Practice
• Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
• Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
Essential Criteria:
• Authority to Work in Australia
• Working with Children check
• Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Advanced level of clinical skills (desired)
• Commitment to Quality Patient Care
• Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
