About Our Day Surgery Department
Our dynamic and modern perioperative complex includes:
- 19 theatres (including Endoscopy)
- 32 first‑stage recovery bays
- 32 second‑stage chairs
- 16 pre‑operative beds
You’ll experience a broad case mix including General, Colorectal, Bariatric, Orthopaedic, Cardiothoracic, ENT, Plastics, Paediatrics, Oral & Dental, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Ophthalmic, Gastroenterology, Neurosurgery, Urology, Angiography and Vascular.
Your Impact
In this role, you will:
- Deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centred nursing care
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Promote patient and staff safety
- Support and guide Enrolled Nurses
- Educate patients to help them manage their health needs
What You Bring
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year acute Day Surgery / Surgical Ward experience
- Cardiac or paediatric experience highly regarded
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safe practice and exceptional patient care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards
- Working rights in Australia
- WWCC (if required)

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2024, a salary ranging from $39.09 - $54.89 per hour.
