Registered Nurse - Day Surgery
About the role
Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Day Surgery Unit team on a part-time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.
- 6, 8, and 10 hours shifts available – shifts between 5:30am – 7:30pm Monday to Friday – no on call or weekends.
As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

Essential Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 1-2 years acute hospital experience (surgical/periop exp preferred)
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Post-graduate qualification (or working towards)
- Commitment to quality patient care
- Works independently and within a team
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Exceptional computer skills
