What your role looks like
As a Registered Nurse in our inpatient addictions unit, you will:
- Work collaboratively with patients, families and the MDT on care planning and decision‑making
- Deliver safe, evidence‑based nursing care aligned to individual treatment plans
- Participate in Safety Huddles and Complex Case Reviews
- Promote open, respectful and effective communication
- Support continuous improvement and patient‑safety initiatives
- Contribute to a calm, trauma‑informed therapeutic environment
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Experience or strong interest in addictions/mental health
- OR postgraduate studies / CPD in mental health or addiction (desirable but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care
- Excellent time‑management and organisational skills
- A willingness to continue learning and developing professionally
