What your role looks like

As a Registered Nurse in our inpatient addictions unit, you will:

• Work collaboratively with patients, families and the MDT on care planning and decision‑making
• Deliver safe, evidence‑based nursing care aligned to individual treatment plans
• Participate in Safety Huddles and Complex Case Reviews
• Promote open, respectful and effective communication
• Support continuous improvement and patient‑safety initiatives
• Contribute to a calm, trauma‑informed therapeutic environment

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Experience or strong interest in addictions/mental health
• OR postgraduate studies / CPD in mental health or addiction (desirable but not essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills
• A willingness to continue learning and developing professionally
