About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Recovery/PACU Registered Nurse to join our high‑performing perioperative team. In this role, collaboration, patient advocacy, and clinical excellence are key.
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering holistic, patient‑centred nursing care in the post‑anaesthetic phase
- Providing evidence‑based nursing practice
- Communicating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Supporting patient safety, clinical quality, and staff wellbeing
- Contributing to a positive, supportive team culture
About You
Essential
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years Recovery/PACU experience
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Working knowledge of ACQSHC National Standards
- Sound clinical decision‑making and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Intermediate computer skills
Desirable
- Postgraduate qualification in Recovery or working towards
- Paediatric recovery experience
