About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our Urology Ward, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality patient care and supporting patients throughout their recovery journey.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care in line with best practice standards
- Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout treatment and recovery
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, medical specialists, allied health professionals and nursing colleagues
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Advocate for patients and promote a culture of safe clinical practice
- Support positive patient experiences through compassionate, person-centred care
About You
You are a passionate and skilled clinician who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years' experience in surgical nursing
- Demonstrated experience in urology nursing
- Current Working with Children Check
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Commitment to quality and safety standards
- Sound understanding of ACQSHC National Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Intermediate computer literacy
