Are you a results oriented people leader with an interest to work with a fast growing and dynamic healthcare provider?

A challenging Supply Manager position has become available for experienced candidates to oversee the strategic direction and management of the supply department.

In this position you will be responsible for:

•  Providing efficient and reliable service to hospital departments to compliment the strategic direction, operational processes, budget and business direction of the hospital/facility

• Maintaining stock inventory levels according to the demands of the facility ensuring efficient management of the stock, ordering and receiving, and invoice processing
• Providing leadership in the operational direction for the department to ensure efficient and effective management of the area

• Networking with internal Distribution Operations and external supply companies, adhering to corporate contracts where applicable, or negotiating for cost efficient prices

   

•  Maintaining a commitment to ongoing learning and development relevant to the industry
•  Drive process and procedure improvements to create value for our sites and grow the operational standards for the supply function
   

Darwin Private Hospital is the only provider of private hospital services in the Northern Territory. As part of the Healthscope Group of Hospitals, it is a licenced 122 bed hospital providing a broad range of multiday and day surgery including, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive, Urology, Gastroenterology and ENT and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory. In February 2021, a purpose built 18 bed inpatient Mental Health & AoD Unit, The Darwin Clinic, opened a new service for patients in the Northern Territory. It also incorporates a dedicated Day Rehabilitation Program.

Our world-class private hospital attracts patients from across the greater Northern Territory, Western Australia, remote aboriginal communities and even offshore. We are co-located with Royal Darwin Hospital and partner in delivering specialised care to patients from across the top end of Australia.
 

Essential Criteria:

•          ERP Supply Systems experience (Tech One desired)

•         Sound level of IT literacy

•         Leadership and development knowledge

•         Collaborative communication with stake holders

•         Forklift license highly regarded

•         Working with Children Clearance
