    Darwin Private Hospital has a vacancy for a Supply Officer to join their busy team of professionals. We offer a supportive

    As a Supply Officer your responsibilities will include:

    Reporting directly to the Supply Manager, this position is responsible for assisting with the supply management of hospital

    wards and the peri-operative unit within the hospital. The position also includes handling supply & imprest queries as well as general

    duties in our logistics area. The position is hands on and requires a high level of physical work.

     

    Darwin Private Hospital is the only provider of private hospital services in the Northern Territory. As part of the Healthscope Group of Hospitals, it is a licenced 122 bed hospital providing a broad range of multiday and day surgery including, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive, Urology, Gastroenterology and ENT and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory. Our world-class private hospital attracts patients from across the greater Northern Territory, Western Australia, remote aboriginal communities and even offshore. We are co-located with Royal Darwin Hospital and partner in delivering specialised care to patients from across the top end of Australia.

     

    Essential Criteria:

    - Experience with a computerised purchasing system (i.e. Technology One) (desired not essential)

    - Ability to work within constraints of a set financial budget

    - Good literacy and numeracy skills

    - Proven time management and problem solving ability

    - Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment

    - Previous experience in a similar role (desired)

    - Medical product knowledge (desired)
