At the Healthscope Independence Services (HIS), dedicated team member with a customer-focused mindset, to delivered outstanding service to our residents. Tenancy and property manager will collaborate with participants, families, SDA providers, TAC, support coordinators, operations teams and external partners to maintain quality housing outcomes, support stable tenancies, and resolve issues with respect, empathy and professionalism.

About the Role
The Property Manager is a new position and will report into the Head of Growth & Partnerships. The role oversees tenancy management, property maintenance, stakeholder coordination and risk management while balancing participant rights, provider obligations and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities include:
Managing tenancy agreements, onboarding, tenancy changes, and exit processes.
Supporting participants to understand their tenancy rights and responsibilities.
Responding to tenancy enquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and person-centred manner.
Conducting property inspections and coordinating maintenance, repairs, and property upgrades.
Monitoring rent payments, service charges, and vacancy management.
Building strong relationships with participants, families, support coordinators, SDA providers, and allied health professionals.
Ensuring compliance with Residential Tenancies legislation, SDA requirements, NDIS standards, and organisational policies.
Maintaining accurate tenancy, property, and compliance records.
Managing tenancy and property-related risks to support safe and sustainable housing outcomes.
Collaborating with operational, intake, clinical, finance, and quality teams to enhance service delivery and housing outcomes.
To be considered for this role you will have:
Experience in tenancy management, property management, housing services, disability services, or a related field.
Strong understanding of customer service and stakeholder engagement.
Knowledge of residential/ state tenancies legislation and NDIS housing environments is highly desirable.
The ability to adjust priorities and resources across multiple teams or sites to maintain service quality and operational stability.
Excellent communication, written, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
A desire to drive improvement initiatives across regions, fostering innovation and embedding practices that enhance efficiency and quality.
Commitment to person-centred practice, safeguarding, and delivering positive outcomes for people with disability.
