Are you a motivated and passionate Administrator looking to step into a rewarding career opportunity? 

We are searching for a part time administrator to work in our Operating Theatres. You will work 35 hours/week between the hours of 7.00am and 7.00pm across the 5 day work week, ensuring coverage and support for our doctors and nursing staff.  This is a pivotal role for the team within the theatre complex!  

Our administrators provide outstanding customer care to patients and their families. This is a great role for experienced and patient care focused individuals who are wanting to achieve work-life balance and a dynamic career in Healthcare.  

As a Theatre Administrator your responsibilities will include: 
•    providing patient-centred customer service 
•    greet all customers
•    handle enquires with a friendly and professional manner
•    maintain accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical records
•    undertaking general administration duties
•    liaison with other areas of the hospital
•    management of patient electronic records ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of patient information.

Essential Criteria: 
•    experience in an acute patient focused healthcare facility/hospital,
•    highly developed interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary work environments,
•    good computer literacy & sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel),
•    a track record of providing great service and customer experience,
•    strong interpersonal communication and report writing skills,
•    ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.

About Northern Beaches Hospital
Operated by Healthscope, Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) is located in Frenchs Forest, only 13kms north of Sydney CBD. The hospital is a contemporary 488 bed facility comprising of 60% public and 40% private beds. Providing a wide range of health services to the local community, including Surgery, a 50 bed Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Birthing, Paediatrics, Cardiac, Mental Health, Dialysis, Cancer Centre and Outpatients.
NBH has 13 operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheter theatre, two Catheter Laboratories and four endoscopy procedure rooms, all supported by a critical care unit which includes two intensive care wards.
Northern Beaches Hospital is a dedicated facility for all patients in the local area. It was thoughtfully designed to optimise patient safety and overall experience, and to provide meaningful management and operational efficiencies that benefit everyone.
