About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Endoscopy Technician to join our perioperative team. You’ll play a key role in:
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining endoscopy equipment
- Processing Olympus 190 and 1500 series scopes
- Ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality
Onsite training and support will be provided to the right candidate.
Our Department
Our Operating Theatre complex has 16 theatres, 32 first stage recovery bays as well as an additional 32 second stage chairs.
Our specialties include General (including laparoscopic), Colorectal, Bariatric, Orthopaedic, Cardiothoracic, ENT, Plastics, Paediatric, Oral & Dental, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Ophthalmic, Robotics, Gastroenterology, Neurosurgery, Urology and Vascular surgery
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Strong communication skills
- Positive “can-do” attitude and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards
- GENCA accreditation
- Flexibility with work hours
Desirable:
- Intermediate computer skills
- Certificate III in Sterilization Services (or working towards)
