Do you want to become part of our Perioperative Service Department team?
As a member of our team you will play an important role, in providing high quality service to theatres and other clinical areas.

 

As Theatre Technician your responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrate patient safety by maintaining cleanliness of work benches and all equipment, reporting malfunctioning machinery or instruments, and utilising Personnel Protective Equipment at all times.
  • Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team, working with the Unit Manager and clinical team, participating in meetings, and demonstrating attention to detail and time management.
  • Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.
  • Demonstrate operational efficiency by working efficiently and identifying and sharing opportunities for improvement to improve service delivery.
  • Practices and role models the Healthscope Safe Values to create a positive experience for colleagues, patients, families and community.
  • Undertakes duties in alignment with Healthscope’s Health and Safety system and framework.

Essential Criteria: 

  • Current Certificate III qualifications
  • Recent Operating suite experience
  • An interest in promoting best practice patient care
  • A focus on Professional Development
