Our supportive, collaborative and dedicated team are looking for casual administration officers to join us!

Our Administration Team require enthusiastic and motivated persons to join our expanding admin team to work across our 7 days of operation.

This role will see you working at front desk being the first friendly face people are greeted with when entering the Hospital and working at the back of department at the switchboard or in data entry.

As an Administration Officer your responsibilities may include:

·       Manage a busy reception desk

·       Answer and redirect calls

·       Organise appointments and prepare admission paperwork

·       Conduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for visits

·       Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records

·       Perform Health Fund Checks as required

·       Manage the collection of excesses/co payments

·       Coordinate with staff from other departments

·       Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry

 

Essential Criteria:

·       Proven Administration and/or Customer service experience

·       Flexible to work a variety of shifts

·       Valid Authority to Work in Australia

·       NSW Working with Children check for Employment

·       High level customer service skillset

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills     

·       Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

·       Strong attention to detail

·       Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

·       Works well independently and within a diverse team

 

Desirable Criteria

·       Prior experience in Healthcare, Medical or Dental Administration (Patient Facing)

·       Prior experience with WebPas Patient Administration System (or similar)

·       Diploma or TAFE level qualification in Administration, Business Management or related discipline (or working towards same)
