Peninsula Private Hospital is seeking a part-time (3 days per week) Credentialing Officer to manage the credentialing of medical practitioners.

As a Credentialling Officer and Executive Assistant Support your key responsibilities will include:

  • Credentialing Management: Maintain and update the credentialing database for all medical staff, ensuring accuracy in insurance, registration, and accreditation details. Processing new and re-credentialing applications, conduct compliance monitoring and follow ups.
  • Administrative Support:  Provide administrative assistance to the Executive Suites administration team and additional general administration tasks as needed.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including doctors, staff, patients, and visitors. Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all communications.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to team efforts to continually improve service delivery and support the achievement of the hospital’s mission, values, and strategic objectives.

 About you:

  • At least 3 years of administrative experience in a busy, professional environment.
  • Exposure to or previous experience with Credentialing Management.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced Hospital or healthcare setting will be highly regarded.
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines in and balance competing priorities a fast paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain and promote good interpersonal, public relations and customer service.
  • Understanding of high level of confidentiality.
  • Previous experience working with e-Credentialing software will be highly regarded.
