We are seeking an outstanding customer service focused individual to work within our busy Administration Team. The successful applicant is required to be a role model of our Building Excellence values and will be a vibrant addition to our team. This role entails administration duties within our admission centres, theatre bookings, main reception desk, wards and patient services team.


As an Administration Officer your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a busy reception desk
  • Managing patient admissions
  • Answering and redirecting calls
  • Preparing admission paperwork
  • Perform Health Fund Checks as required
  • Conduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for visits
  • Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records
  • Manage the collection of excess/co payments
  • Coordinate with staff from other departments
  • Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry

Selection Criteria:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills     
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts is a must – early/late shifts & weekend work
  • WebPas Hospital system experience (Desired)
