We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer‑focused Consulting Suites Receptionist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working with people, and maintains exceptional attention to detail.

About the Role

As a Consulting Suites Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and specialists. Your warm, professional manner will help create a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

  • Provide high‑quality front‑of‑house reception services for specialists and patients
  • Manage patient check‑ins, appointment scheduling, and enquiries (phone, email, in‑person)
  • Liaise with specialists, practice managers, and hospital departments
  • Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
  • Maintain specialist room bookings and consulting schedules
  • Ensure waiting areas and reception spaces are well‑presented at all times
  • Support administrative tasks including scanning, data entry, document preparation, and file management
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and hospital privacy standards
  • Deliver a high level of customer service in line with Healthscope’s values

About You

You will be someone who:

  • Has previous experience in medical reception, patient administration, or customer service (preferred)
  • Is confident using medical software systems or willing to learn (e.g., Genie, Gentu, or similar)
  • Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication skills
  • Works well under pressure and can multitask effectively
  • Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
  • Shows empathy, patience, and a commitment to patient‑centred care
