Are you a highly motivated Registered Nurse ready to undertake this key leadership role? The After Hours Hospital Coordinator is a pivotal member of the health care team providing after hours leadership and management of the nursing team and hospital. 


As the After Hours Hospital Coordinator your responsibilities will include:

  •  Supervise safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards
  • Support and liaise with Visiting Medical Officers, Hospital Executive, and, the respective Nurse Unit Manager(s) of wards and departments
  • Ensure all areas are staffed appropriately and cost efficient
  • Coordinate patient admissions/discharges/transfers
  • Oversee the safety of all patients and hospital staff


Pine Rivers Private Hospital (PRPH) presents as a high-performing, welcoming & supportive 70-bed, acute Mental Health Inpatient and Outpatient facility caring for low to moderate risk patients. PRPH provides a large array of both Inpatient and Outpatient Psychotherapy Programs, and TMS/ECT therapies.      Essential Criteria:

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
  • Recent inpatient mental health management experience at ANUM level or higher
  • Tertiary Qualification in a mental health related discipline or management (desired)
  • Knowledge of relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements (desired)
  • Demonstrated experience with the coordination and allocation of staff
  • High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • People leadership skills including mentorship and coaching of team members
  • Ability to manage special projects and selected portfolios


This position is for 64 hours per fortnight.
