We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Grade 3 Allied Health Assistant to join our team on a full time or minimum 0.8 basis to cover of our existing Gr 3 AHA who will be on maternity leave in mid January 2025.

As an Allied Health Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting members of the Allied Health team to provide a high standard of customer service and clinical care to patients/families
- Working under the direction and supervision of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and dietitians to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals
- The Gr 3 AHA will provide support to the Allied Health Manager and Allied Health Senior Clinicians and act on their behalf as required to assist in the management and leadership of all the AHAs in the Allied Health service.

Selection Criteria:
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance essential
- minimum 5 years clinical in hospital setting
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, manage time effectively and complete activities
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with or providing care to people in a health care setting and/or demonstrate a basic understanding of therapy programs
- good leadership skills and experience in managing AHA team
