Peninsula Private Hospital are seeking an enthusiastic individual with an excellent understanding of WH&S, who is focused on providing an efficient and safe shift and be able to respond to daily operational changes with a supportive and calm disposition.
About us
Peninsula Private is a 62-bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 4 operating theatres and 2 day procedure rooms, located on the idyllic Redcliffe Peninsula. Specialties include orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology and internal medicine and the delivery of leading rehabilitation services and programs on the Brisbane northside.
Key Responsibilities:

- Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
- Assess patients using therapeutic skills

Essential Criteria:
- Certificate III/IV (from an approved training provider) in Community and Health Services, Personal Carer
- Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing desired

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Healthscope - QLDNMA / AMNF - Nurses and Midwives Agreement – Assistant in Nursing classification starting from $32.19 to $35.30 per hour.
