Billing Officer

Healthscope's Victorian Centralised Billing and Collections Hub is looking to employ a Billing Officer to join their busy team. The primary purpose of this role is to provide exceptional billing services focusing on first time billing accuracy

You will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work both autonomously and within a team to achieve individual and team objectives.

The role is based at The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre, Glen Waverley and is Full Time

Key Responsibilities will include:

·       Adhering to Quality Assurance processes and checklists to meet with ‘First Time Bill Right” target

·       Build strong stakeholder relationships and building trust and service confidence for the team.

·       Maintaining unbilled revenue to an acceptable level as per Healthscope expectations

·       Investigation of unresolved billing disputes with Healthscope Hospitals, ensuring timely issue resolution to mitigate aged debt.

·       Ad hoc tasks and other relevant duties as directed by management.

Selection Criteria includes:

·       Strong stakeholder management skills.

·       Experience in all aspects of the Billing function.

·       Reconciliation skills and Excel will be highly regarded.

·       Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.

·       Worked to deadlines under pressure and planned and prioritised in a fast-paced environment.
